Ms BLNPA Fitness Judging Criteria
The judging will be conducted in two rounds. The first and second rounds will be conducted during prejudging. EVENING SHOW JUDGING Fitness Routine Round - 50% of Score The judges will evaluate the Routine round based on the following criteria, with an emphasis on Execution & Performance:
Judges will look for high-energy routines that demonstrate athletic coordination, style, personality and overall performance. Routines may include dance, gymnastics, cheer, aerobics, fitness and/or other displays of exceptional athletic talent. Contestants should demonstrate flexibility, creativity and showmanship. However, there are no specific athletic or strength moves required. Costumes will be judged as well during the Fitness Round, so special attention should be given. No G-string or thong-type costumes may be worn unless athletic apparel or tights are worn underneath, and tennis shoes or athletic shoes must be worn. Props are allowed but must be approved by the promoter in advance of the performance. Routines may not exceed two minutes and once begun cannot be repeated. Music should be professionally recorded for maximum performance and audience & judges impression. Music must be in CD-Rom format and should be the only music on the CD. Fitness Swimsuit Round - 50% of Score The judges will evaluate the Swimsuit round based on the following criteria:
In this round, contestant attire is restricted to 2-piece swimsuit and high heels. After having your number called by the Head Judge, the contestant will perform the stage walk. After the stage walk, the contestant will exit the stage area. The entire stage walk should have an even flow. After each competitor completes the Stage Walk, The competitors will be brought back onto stage for group presentation and quarter turns. This is where the contestants are being compared against the members of their class. Judges will analyze body shape, tone, symmetry, complexion, poise, presentation and overall condition. Also, they will be looking for fit, toned, feminine bodies that display proper conditioning. Contestants will be judged individually and in-group comparisons. G-string or thong type swimsuits are not allowed. There will be 5 Fitness & Figure Judges. Fitness & Figure Judges having a family member, trainee or friend on the panel must step down during that class being judged. |
